I. Program Objectives

The program aims to foster comprehensive development in moral, intellectual and psycho-physical well being and provide courses to empower students with cultural and ethical excellence, theoretical and practical knowledge, creative thinking and experiential understanding, as well as a wide field of vision.

 

II. Learning Outcomes

Upon successful completion of the program, students should possess:

  • profound knowledge and skills in Japanese listening, speaking, writing, reading and translating;
  • comprehensive social cultural knowledge in the Japanese context along with basic abilities of research and inquiry;
  • capability of managing administration, teaching, researching, translating and interpretation for state organizations, academic institutions and foreign trade enterprises, with potentials for further education in renowned overseas institutions.
