October 9 is the "Hangeul day" in South Korea and this year is the 568 anniversary of the promulgation of Hangeul, the Korean character by King Sejong in Chosun Dynasty. Therefore, Wuhan Sejong School organized a series of cultural activities.

In the afternoon of October 9, the Korean culture teacher Song Zheng'en gave a lesson on "POP Poster Design" in Korean characters. Students wrote down "한글날 우한 세종 학당 (Hangeul Day Wuhan Sejong School) with colorful gouache paint. "In the evening, each class held a calligraphy contest using brush or pen. Participant carefully wrote down their Korean works. School teachers gave award to the participants of winning works.

In the evening of October 10, the school broadcast Korean film "Sunny" at Room 104 in Science and Technology Building. Many students came to watch the film with great interest. After the file, some students said that although they watch Korean films at home sometimes, it felt better to watch the Korean films with classmates because you can interact with each other in Korean.

Wuhan Sejong school held Hangeul Day and "POP Poster Design" experience class, film show and other activities this year for the first time. In the future, we will provide more opportunities for more students to interact with Korean culture to increase their interest in Korean learning in diverse ways.
